In a windswept Littleton Durlas Og bridge a thirty one year wait for the county 12 A title against St Marys . Playing with the wind the Clonmel side took an early lead with a goal from a sixtyfive followed by a close range free. This would be their final score as the Thurles side took over in all sectors . An Aaron Darmody point was soon backed up with a point from Kieran Rossiter and when Darragh Dwyer put the full back line under pressure Aaron was there to finish the first of his four goals to give Durlas Og a halftime lead of 1-03 to 1-01 . The second half saw some great scores with further goals from a superb Euan Murray and Kieran Rossiter and three from Aaron . Points were also added from Donnagh Hickey , Euan and Kieran . Despite the scoreline the St Marys payers never gave up and had some fine performances from their goalkeeper Alex Judge , Dara Maher and Conor Landers . For Durlas Og all fourteen players played their part , from Dirmuid Barrett in goals , backs Darragh Cornally, Ciaran O Mahony the busy Eoin Webb in midfield and the superb forwards to leave the final score Durlas Og 6-09 St Marys 1-01.
